This workshop is offered as an IN-PERSON workshop only.
In a severe bleeding emergency, professional help may not arrive in time. Stop the Bleed teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and take immediate action using proven trauma care techniques.

CIVILIAN RESPONSE TO ACTIVE SHOOTER EVENTS

Active shooter incidents can unfold in a matter of seconds, leaving little time to react and creating uncertainty for everyone involved. The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course equips individuals with practical strategies and proven response options that can help save lives during a critical incident.
Built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend™ model developed by ALERRT™ (Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training), this course provides participants with the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed decisions during an active threat situation. Through real-world examples and practical instruction, attendees will learn how to recognize potential threats, understand response options, and take action when every second counts.

This is a 90-minute instructor-led presentation delivered in person only. Training is provided at no cost for local organizations, and there is no maximum limit on the number of participants who can attend. For locations outside the local service area, travel expenses may apply.
